Zero-Solvent Extraction
A concentrate production method that uses no chemical solvents — relying instead on mechanical force, heat, pressure, or water to extract cannabinoids and terpenes from hemp plant material. Rosin pressing and ice water hash are the most common zero-solvent techniques. Products made this way are marketed as 'solventless' and are preferred by consumers concerned about residual chemical contamination.
