Couch Lock

Slang for an intensely sedating cannabis effect where the user feels physically heavy, deeply relaxed, and unmotivated to move. Couch lock is most associated with high-myrcene indica strains consumed at higher doses. It is driven by the combined effect of cannabinoids and terpenes on the body's CB receptors. While some users seek out couch lock for its deep heaviness and full-body relaxation, others prefer to avoid it for daytime use.
